The history of our bondage began in Eden, all we know from the scriptures is that there was a war in heaven and this continued here on earth as a result of a voluntary surrender of freedom by our ancestors "Adam and Eve". The story of "The Free" who continue to choose to be controlled by another is the theme told in types and figures from the Great flood till our present time, Esau and others sell their Birthright for cheap. I have been reading stories of how African resources are being drained by China and the usual Western Imperial powers, this is being archived by enrichment of few greedy African dragons. The children of Israel although under a theocracy were free only in obedience to the Supreme God but yet they desired a King over them and voluntarily willing to be under the rule of another as other nations who had gone a step further to make these mortals gods. These man gods of the world have similar character to that of Lucifer who also was a creature and desired to worshipped as God. Satan has converted himself according to the present order of things and through some of his agents in leadership and the yoke of death, we are all in physical bondage but the complete dominance will not be archived whilst the dictate of conscience is still free.
Scripture reading: Psalm 91:13-14 "Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation".
False religion including 'unbelief' is the "opium of the masses", yes drugged up, devoured and enslaved by the tail of the angry 'great red dragon' (see Revelation 12:3-4). We gained what we thought we were told we wanted and lost all that we had (Genesis 3: 1-5). This reminds me of this current Covid19 crisis, at the expense of the health (physical, mental and spiritual) we are told we never had, we lost the liberties we had and apparently we now have to live with masks, vaccination philanthropies, economic collapse, suicides and social distancing. Not to conform to these new realities is to be regarded as absurd, dangerous and "not black enough" or perhaps being inhumane. The tail (lies) of this dragon has been successful to seduce a third of the angelic host and has been successful on earth and only left with few, poor and unpopular remnant to devour if it were possible.
"God destroys no man. Everyone who is destroyed will have destroyed himself. Everyone who stifles the admonitions of conscience is sowing the seeds of unbelief, and these will produce a sure harvest. By rejecting the first warning from God, Pharaoh of old sowed the seeds of obstinacy, and he reaped obstinacy. God did not compel him to disbelieve. The seed of unbelief which he sowed produced a harvest of its kind. Thus his resistance continued, until he looked upon his devastated land, upon the cold, dead form of his first-born, and the first-born of all in his house and of all the families in his kingdom, until the waters of the sea closed over his horses and his chariots and his men of war. His history is a fearful illustration of the truth of the words that “whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” Galatians 6:7. Did men but realize this, they would be careful what seed they sow. COL 84.4
True missionary workers will not colonize. "The darkest chapters of history are burdened with the record of crimes committed by bigoted religionists". - DA 309.2
Before the first Jesuit missionary Gonzalo Da Silvera [1561] came to Zimbabwe, the Shona people worshipped " Creator God" although mixed with pagan ancestor worship which was not entirely different from what these Roman Catholic emperialists believed, though they claimed white ancestors and white 'jesus' was a better master to colonize their minds and make everything the African believed to be satanic. They claimed to be civil and polished and the African barbaric, who needed white supremacy to save them from 'slow evolution' to gain a loss. I would not even call their doctrine Christian, it was devilish and deceptive craft of highest order. Don't we see the fruits of their labours manifested in the prosperity gospel churches, ancestor worship demanded a cow and a goat to get answers to prayers and now the 'civilised gods' want cash or credit card. All I am saying is that the self seeking, self exaltation, righteousness by works doctrines in African traditional worship or Western traditional 'fake - christian' religion is a yoke of bondage masterminded from the Great Red Dragon.
It is no part of Christ’s mission to compel men to receive Him. It is Satan, and men actuated by his spirit, that seek to compel the conscience. Under a pretense of zeal for righteousness, men who are confederate with evil angels bring suffering upon their fellow men, in order to convert them to their ideas of religion; but Christ is ever showing mercy, ever seeking to win by the revealing of His love. He can admit no rival in the soul, nor accept of partial service; but He desires only voluntary service, the willing surrender of the heart under the constraint of love. There can be no more conclusive evidence that we possess the spirit of Satan than the disposition to hurt and destroy those who do not appreciate our work, or who act contrary to our ideas. - DA 487.3
Ezikiel 29:2-3 "Son of man, set thy face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt: Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself".
In prophetic language, Ezekiel is talking about Egypt representing atheistic, pagan world ( See Daniel 11:40, 42-43, Revelation 11:8), Pharaoh as Kings, Governors and Rulers that rule the people (dragon and waters see Revelation 12:3-4, 17:15).
The “great city” in whose streets the witnesses are slain, and where their dead bodies lie, “is spiritually Egypt.” Of all nations presented in Bible history, Egypt most boldly denied the existence of the living God, and resisted his commands. No monarch ever ventured upon more open and high-handed rebellion against the authority of Heaven than did the king of Egypt. When the message was brought him by Moses, in the name of the Lord, Pharaoh proudly answered, “Who is Jehovah, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not Jehovah, neither will I let Israel go.” [Exodus 5:2.] This is atheism; and the nation represented by Egypt would give voice to a similar denial of the claims of the living God, and would manifest a like spirit of unbelief and defiance...GC88 269.2
“No man can serve two masters.” We cannot serve God with a divided heart. Bible religion is not one influence among many others; its influence is to be supreme, pervading and controlling every other. It is not to be like a dash of color brushed here and there upon the canvas, but it is to pervade the whole life, as if the canvas were dipped into the color, until every thread of the fabric were dyed a deep, unfading hue. - DA 312.3
The ideal of Christian character is Christlikeness. - DA 311.4
Religious powers, allied to heaven by profession, and claiming to have the characteristics of a lamb, will show by their acts that they have the heart of a dragon and that they are instigated and controlled by Satan. The time is coming when God’s people will feel the hand of persecution because they keep holy the seventh day. Satan has caused the change of the Sabbath in the hope of carrying out his purpose for the defeat of God’s plans. He seeks to make the commands of God of less force in the world than human laws. The man of sin, who thought to change times and laws, and who has always oppressed the people of God, will cause laws to be made enforcing the observance of the first day of the week. But God’s people are to stand firm for Him. And the Lord will work in their behalf, showing plainly that He is the God of gods. - CCh 317.3
Those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus will feel the ire of the dragon and his hosts. Satan numbers the world as his subjects, he has gained control of the apostate churches; but here is a little company that are resisting his supremacy. If he could blot them from the earth, his triumph would be complete. As he influenced the heathen nations to destroy Israel, so in the near future he will stir up the wicked powers of earth to destroy the people of God. All will be required to render obedience to human edicts in violation of the divine law. Those who will be true to God and to duty will be menaced, denounced, and proscribed. They will “be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends.” - CCh 352.2
Political corruption is destroying love of justice and regard for truth; and even in free America, rulers and legislators, in order to secure public favor, will yield to the popular demand for a law enforcing Sunday observance. Liberty of conscience, which has cost so great a sacrifice, will no longer be respected. - DD 35.4
