There is adverse effect of the never ending lockdown policies in our society, it's sad to report that in our church community a young man in England took his own life because of anxiety over the lockdowns. Although I empathize with the government in trying to minimise infection rates l disagree and am biased in favour of less restrictions like the Swedish approach to the virus, it can be devastating to use a hammer to beat "flies" on a glass ceiling, the cure can be more tragic than can be imagined, the pharmacological physicians of our time give harmful prescriptions and advice because somehow the society has decided to believe 'science' without necessary critical analysis, 60% who favour state interventionism will unanimously condemn arguments for herd immunity  (without vaccines) as heretical. When Boris Johnson rejected the advice from his scientists regarding the circuit breaker lockdown, we applauded and scorned at the first minister of Wales for locking down that region despite opposition from civil liberty patriots who continue to protest against totalitarian state.There are only two days left before US2020 elections, the Biden campaign is taking Covid19 measures seriously and avoiding gatherings without social distancing. It seems that the "malarkey" is on the Trump campaign who are freely mingling as if to suggest "irresponsible" herd immunity approach to the virus. It is obvious that the media darling "President elect Biden" (if polls are right) is pro-lockdown and will be implementing lockdown mandates similar to the ones in Europe. The UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson yesterday announced that England will be going through four weeks lockdown beginning on Thursday the 5th. It also seems to me that the narrative from "conspiracy theories" is being fulfilled that the plandemic and subsequent lockdowns and mandatory vaccines are the implementation of the Agenda 2017, the IMF plan to reset global economy and the debt cancellation policy coupled which is a Socialist takeover of capitalist societies. The conspiracy theorists also suggest that mandatory vaccines via the Gates Foundation and the New world order will create a class system where conformists are rewarded and the heretics re-educated. This may sound like George Orwell "1984" book which describes the rise of totalitarianism. The mutation of the Covid19 is also predicted to become more deadly and will be termed "Covid21", which will result in third global lockdowns. The "new normal" is upon us, personal rights are sacrificed by the state for " the common good". What will stop the state from setting aside private property ownership rights, freedom of expression and religious right? The Orwellian era has dawned on us and rights we had until February will soon be far distant history. It's reported that the hard left are salivating to the prospect of socialism in the United States in Biden-Harris regime with cabinet positions for the likes of Bernie Sanders, AOC, the Squad and Elizabeth Warren. What are the implications of Socialist takeover of US government  to the so called " dogmatic Christians" who are in the class of anti- vaccination, pro-life and anti-science? The potential Biden-Harris era is certainly going to bring back "normality" restoring WOKE philosophies, social justice and liberal era for the "common good". We should also note that both the thesis (Law and Order) and antithesis ( Common Good) are the Hegelian dialectic of the power mongers who will not be deterred in archiving their primary goal which is the dreadful synthesis of placing the man of sin back on the throne to seat as God of the earth.

The agents of evil may have decided to subject the world into dystopian future but God who sets up kings and removes kings will raise up reformers who will slay the false prophet, dragon and the Beast. So what I am saying is that Christians should not be anxious regarding the future, we need to put on the whole armour of God to stand against the wiles of the devil. We cannot afford to go to battle with unfamiliar armour belonging to rebellious Saul, we need to be skillful in handling the double edged sword (Scriptures) as we have Goliaths to battle with.Now is the best time to mend our nets because God has called us to be fishers of men,  the wilderness experience with the Lord is a blessing rather than the curse the enemy intends it to be.

“Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily.” Thou shalt “call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and He shall say, Here I am.” “Thy light” shall “rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday: and the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.” [Isaiah 58:8-11.] 

All around us are afflicted souls. Let us search out these suffering ones, and speak a word in season to comfort their hearts. Here and there—everywhere—we shall find them. Let us ever be channels through which may flow to them the refreshing waters of compassion. To those who minister to the necessities of the hungry and afflicted, the promise is, “Then shall thy light rise in obscurity.” 4BC 1151.8

Many are in obscurity. They have lost their bearings. They know not what course to pursue. Let the perplexed ones search out others who are in perplexity, and speak to them words of hope and encouragement. When they begin to do this work, the light of heaven will reveal to them the path that they should follow. By their words of consolation to the afflicted they themselves will be consoled. By helping others, they themselves will be helped out of their difficulties. Joy takes the place of sadness and gloom. The heart, filled with the Spirit of God, glows with warmth toward every fellow being. Every such an one is no longer in darkness; for his “darkness” is “as the noon day” (Manuscript 116, 1902). 4BC 1151.9
