Thy Word has become Flesh

"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth" John 1:14.

"The darkest chapters of history are burdened with the record of crimes committed by bigoted religionists". Stephen was stoned by religious leaders for believing the Revelation of Jesus by the Scriptures beginning from Moses and all prophets. In this age of Fact checkers and cancel culture can there be bigoted religionists amongst us who with great zeal enforce the "Facts" as written in the "Church Manual Edition 2015" and thus crucify Christ in the persornage of the Saints who dare to rigidly obey the Scriptures without a theology degree and understanding the Eschatological gymnastics and the "Historical Critical method"?

 I understand that it can be offensive to be told that our cherished beliefs from infancy are not true. It can be dangerous to share what one believes to be the truth without offending tradition. A rigid adherence to the Scriptures and a zealous regard to theological tenets usually diverge than converge. The baptism of John was it of man or of God? Dear Rabbi the answer is not in the Church Manual 2015 edition but in the Scriptures; how readest thou? In the attempt to intimidate worshippers with the discipline of disfellowshipping, the Manual has been used to usurp the authority of the Scriptures. "A lack of moral courage to step aside from the beaten track of the world, leads many to follow in the steps of learned men; and by their reluctance to investigate for themselves, they are becoming hopelessly fastened in the chains of error" GC596.3.  

 "Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" John 8:31-32. The extreme fringe between the left and right has to be eliminated to get to the synthesis however this Hegelian dialectic will not work against Truth as revealed in the Scriptures. Yes many have tried to do this resulting in paganism clothed in robes of "Saint Peter". The earthly systems may attempt to merge Christianity with the worship of Baal veiled with a love message or by taking the name of Jehovah in vain with froggy tongues and yet keeping the commandments of men; Lukewarm Christianity is an unacceptable condition to God. It's strange statement to say but unless you are fully opposed to the "other side" your worship is a virtue signal to please your social justice warrior audience. 

Matthew 15:9 "But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men". 

If you lack wisdom on how to navigate this world, ditch your foolishness and abide by every word that proceeds from the Word of God (God's thoughts made audible). Last week week I was investigating the source of My faith "The Scriptures" which is now categorized as conspiracy theory by the "Truth Commission" and the "Snops Fact checkers". The Snops are the protectors of "facts" and are armed with "Supreme mindset which is in actual fact dangerously opposed to science which they propose to be protecting. They now propose that the unproven theory of evolution is factual and scientific teaching that there was a Big Bang and walla a designed Earth with laws. These conjectures by the Fact checkers cannot explain the features of the molecular world but yet push us on BookFace to the opinions of "alternative facts" which are the foolishness of endless genders and climate change. Their tool for cancel culture is "QAnon, or simply Q, is a disproven and discredited far-right conspiracy theory alleging that a secret cabal of Satan-worshipping, cannibalistic pedophiles is running a global child sex-trafficking ring and plotted against former U.S. president Donald Trump while he was in office". This "conspiracy theory" is now being linked to creation story in the Scriptures making Christians and creationism a problematic and dangerous movement like the "insurrectionists of January the 6th".

"Notwithstanding the Bible is full of warnings against false teachers, many are ready thus to commit the keeping of their souls to the clergy. There are today thousands of professors of religion who can give no other reason for points of faith which they hold than that they were so instructed by their religious leaders. They pass by the Saviour’s teachings almost unnoticed, and place implicit confidence in the words of the ministers. But are ministers infallible? How can we trust our souls to their guidance unless we know from God’s Word that they are light-bearers? A lack of moral courage to step aside from the beaten track of the world, leads many to follow in the steps of learned men; and by their reluctance to investigate for themselves, they are becoming hopelessly fastened in the chains of error. They see that the truth for this time is plainly brought to view in the Bible, and they feel the power of the Holy Spirit attending its proclamation; yet they allow the opposition of the clergy to turn them from the light. Though reason and conscience are convinced, these deluded souls dare not think differently from the minister; and their individual judgment, their eternal interests, are sacrificed to the unbelief, the pride and prejudice, of another" GC88 596.3. 

Many are the ways by which Satan works through human influence to bind his captives. He secures multitudes to himself by attaching them by the silken cords of affection to those who are enemies of the cross of Christ. Whatever this attachment may be, parental, filial, conjugal, or social, the effect is the same; the opposers of truth exert their power to control the conscience, and the souls held under their sway have not sufficient courage or independence to obey their own convictions of duty. - GC88 597.1

So how do we know when the Word has become Flesh? 

"The same danger still exists. Many take it for granted that they are Christians, simply because they subscribe to certain theological tenets. But they have not brought the truth into practical life. They have not believed and loved it, therefore they have not received the power and grace that come through sanctification of the truth. Men may profess faith in the truth; but if it does not make them sincere, kind, patient, forbearing, heavenly-minded, it is a curse to its possessors, and through their influence it is a curse to the world" DA 309.3.

The righteousness which Christ taught is conformity of heart and life to the revealed will of God. Sinful men can become righteous only as they have faith in God and maintain a vital connection with Him. Then true godliness will elevate the thoughts and ennoble the life. Then the external forms of religion accord with the Christian’s internal purity. Then the ceremonies required in the service of God are not meaningless rites, like those of the hypocritical Pharisees. - DA 310.1
